Special Note - July 28, 2007

James McGee, whom we got "Fly" from, has won the Irish National again with "Becca". She was second in 2006 and won it the year before. He also has another dog, "Roy", that placed fourth and was chosen as the Irish Driving Champion and will also represent Ireland at the International Supreme in September.  

Of course I am biased but I think this is awesome for this young handler to be so high in the rankings of International Sheepdog trialling. Congratulations James!

Fly was shipped over in the fall of 2006. Handled by her breeder, James P. McGee, she was the Irish Nursery Champion for 2006 and the Donegal Section Nursery Champion for 2005 - 2006. She is a strong, wide casting dog that prefers the open field to the arena or yard. She is quick and keen. 

Fly is CEA and PRA tested clear/normal.

Her hips have been rated good.

*Update July 1, 2007* - Fly's pups (Sired by Glen) were born on July 1, 2007. She had 1 bitch and 3 dogs.

*Update August 3, 2007* - Here are Fly's pups at four weeks.. They are getting harder to take pics of!!!

Paul and Linda Oates of Emerald, Queensland, have been gracious enough to ship Glen down to us to be bred to "Fly" in 2007.

Glen was shipped to Australia in 2000 from Scotland. He is well known in Queensland as a sire of top working cattle dogs.

Barney was shipped over in the fall of 2006. He is a grandson of Derek Scrimgeour's Ben, who was 5th at the 2002 Int. Supreme. His dam, Lee, was 11th in the 2004 Irish National and 4th in the 2006 Irish National and was a team member for Ireland competing at the 2006 Int. Supreme. Barney is a bold free moving fairly upright dog.

He is CEA and PRA tested clear/normal.

Preliminary status on Barney's hips at one year is good.
